Peonies

Sending peonies is worthwhile every year anew. The undisputed queen of the flower world enchants in every bouquet. It is a bloomer of spring and early summer and can therefore also be found in our summer flower collection. Botanically speaking, the peony season is probably the most popular time of the year. Hardly any other flower enjoys such popularity and has such a short flowering period. They only bloom in May and June, which makes them a particularly exclusive flower. So if you decide to give someone a bouquet of peonies, you can look forward to a great surprise.

The petals of the peonies usually shine in shades of pink to red. However, as there are a total of 32 species of this flower, you can also find peonies in white or even yellow. Here in Europe, the Paeonia officinali) is the most common peony type. Its sepals are red to pink with inner yellow stamens. Fun fact: the peony species "Coral Sunset" has a beautiful colour gradient from pink to salmon to cream, just like a sunset.
